Batch cooking French toast is easy with my oven-baked method. It makes it super simple to cook several portions at a time and freeze for busy mornings.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices thick wholemeal bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 150 ml milk

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C/180°C Fan/Gas Mark 6 and line 2 baking trays with parchment paper.
  2. Cut each slice of bread into three.
  3. Into a shallow bowl add the eggs, milk and vanilla and mix well.
