Frozen fruit is cheap, healthy and so versatile. Turn bags of frozen berries or cherries into a delicious fruit coulis, perfect for adding to yoghurt, porridge or smoothies.

Ingredients

  • 500 g frozen fruit
  • juice of 1 clementine
  • 1 tbsp

Method

  1. Add the frozen fruit and clementine juice to a saucepan and cook on low for 5–10 minutes until the berries have softened.
  2. Remove from the heat and stir in the chia seeds.
  3. Leave the mixture to cool then transfer to a jar or a few small containers.
  4. Serve on top of yoghurt, with porridge or add to smoothies.
