This is another favourite of both my children. A simple sausage casserole slow cooked with vegetables and lentils.


  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 medium carrots, diced


  1. Add all the ingredients except the frozen peas to the slow cooker.
  2. Cook on high for 4–5 hours or low for 5–6 hours.
  3. Add the frozen peas for the last 15 minutes of cooking.
  4. Serve with crusty bread.
