For me, having easy and instant access to fresh fruit and veg is the key to my kids eating healthy snacks throughout the day. Have these packs of ready-prepped veg like carrots, cucumber and peppers and fruit like berries, mango and grapes washed, cut and ready to eat straight from the fridge.

Ingredients

  • carrots
  • celery
  • cucumber
  • peppers
  • tomatoes
  • grapes

Method

  1. Prep the vegetables first by washing them.
  2. Peel and cut the carrots into batons. Cut the celery and cucumber into a similar size and slice the peppers.
  3. Place the carrots and celery in a pot or jar and cover with water.
  4. Place the cucumber and pepper in a container lined with a damp piece of kitchen paper.
