  • About

This simple spiced yogurt sauce is a great accompaniment to curries and fritters. Add diced cucumber for a cooling variation, which is similar to Indian raita.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup [120 g] plain yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh cila

Method

In a small bowl, combine the yogurt, cilantro, lime juice, and garam masala and whisk with a fork. Dust with cayenne, add the cucumber (if using), and serve immediately or chill until ready to use. Stored in an airtight container, the sauce will keep for at least 1 week in the refrigerator.
