In the neighbourhood of Çukurcuma, among the antiques stores and funny little bric-a-brac shops, you cannot miss the window display of Asri Turşucu. Dozens of large glass jars are stacked from the floor to (almost) the ceiling, filled with pickled vegetables and sealed with little gingham caps in a rainbow of colours. Irresistible.
