Flour Helva

Helva is sold by specialists because it can be a little tricky to make at home (it needs to be stirred constantly, but covered at the same time). There are many variations, and this flour-based helva is Nurdane’s favourite – it was Nurdane who gave me her family’s recipe using flour and butter. A formidable little Turkish crumble.
