Flourless Lemon and Almond Cake

There are quite a few different versions of this cake and the common denominators are eggs, sugar, almonds and lemon. After that, there are lots of variations including with and without flour; the ‘with flour’ version is usually baked for Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur, and the ‘without flour’ version for Passover.
