COOKING ASPARAGUS IN BUTTER AND MUSTARD BRINGS OUT ITS TRUE FLAVOR. THIS DISH MAKES A GOOD SIDE FOR MANY FISH DISHES, CHICKEN, AND ROAST MEATS.
Heat a large skillet over high heat. Add the asparagus and cook for 1 minute. Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. When the butter has started to brown, add the mustard and lemon juice. Season generously with pepper. Cook gently for 5 to 7 minutes, turning the asparagus every now and then. The asparagus should be tender but still firm inside.
Serve immediately.
