Black Pudding Wrapped in a Blanket

This is my take on everyone’s favourite party hors d’oeuvres, pigs in a blanket. Instead of mini hot dogs, I use Korean black pudding (soondae), which is mildly spiced and includes glutinous rice, sweet potato noodles, spring onions and garlic. People generally purchase it steamed and sliced at food stalls in Korean markets, where it comes with a small container of salt, pepper, gochugaru and sesame seeds for dipping.
