Pomelos are a citrus fruit with a sweet, mild grapefruit taste. When I was a teenager, I would sit around my parents’ kitchen table for hours peeling giant pomelos and eating them with my friends on Friday nights after Shabbat dinner (wild child, what can I say?). The fruit is rather large and takes some time to peel, so I suggest peeling the pomelos and chopping or breaking the segments into small pieces in advance. Then store the pieces in an airtight container in the refrigerator to have
