  • About

This once popular drink got its name from the spiral of lemon hanging over the edge of the glass. It looked like the mane of a horse.

Ingredients

  • Peel of 1 lemon, cut into a spiral
  • 5 ounces ginger ale
  • 2 or 3

Method

Place the peel in a highball glass and hook the end over the rim of the glass. Fill the glass with ice cubes and pour in the ginger ale and bitters. Stir.
