A mouthwatering combination of crispy caramelised onions, nutty bulgur and lentils, this is a Middle Eastern classic. It’s topped with a dollop of cool, creamy yoghurt sauce laced with fresh mint and finished with dukkah, a crunchy roasted nut and spice mix.
If you prefer, use quick-cooking bulgur and 2 packs of ready to eat Puy lentils, but don’t skip the caramelised onions that we think really make the dish.
