A Bloody Mary’s basic constituents are tomato juice, vodka and Worcestershire sauce. But if you take the trouble to add the extra flavourings, you will lift your Bloody Mary to another level. The pickle juice isn’t necessary, but once we’d tried it, and it was so good, we now never throw away pickling liquid...and we make a lot of Bloody Marys.
