Savory herbs are so good with a little butter and sugar! We especially love thyme: tiny leaves of flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (228 g) European-style butter (at least 82% butterfat), such as Plugra, softened

Method

In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream butter and sugar on medium-low speed until fluffy and pale yellow. Scrape bowl well. Add egg and vanilla.
