Swiss cheese and onions make for a timeless combination that’s one of my favorites. These scones are delicious with a poached egg or two.

Ingredients

  • cups (510 g) all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting

Method

Preheat oven to 375°. Line a sheet pan with parchment paper. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine flour, baking powder, salt, onion powder, granulated garlic, and cumin and mix on low speed. Gradually add butter and mix until pea-size lumps form.
