Method

  1. Add vinegar, hot water, salt, and sugar to a Mason jar or bowl and stir.
  2. Add in onions, submerging them under the liquid.
  3. Cover tightly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to five days).
  4. Serve on salads, over eggs, in stir fries, on wraps, and in bowls.
  5. Veggie variation: Replace the onions in this recipe with another veg
