  • About

These pakoras are made with store cupboard ingredients, but the end result is very authentic. You know what’s in them and how great is it to serve something like this that you have made?

Ingredients

  • 150 g self raising flour
  • 2 onions, peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon <

Method

  1. Mix the flour and onions in a bowl and add the cumin and ginger. Mix in the eggs. You should have a thick batter, but add just enough milk so the batter is the thickness of double cream.
  2. Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan to 1cm deep and heat until very hot. Put tablespoons of the mix into the pan and cook for a couple of minutes or until the pakoras are firm
