Using peanuts instead of tahini paste makes a really interesting flavour for this hummus.

Ingredients

  • 400 g tinned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 125 g salted roasted peanuts
  • 1

Method

  1. Put the peanuts into a food processor with 1 tablespoon lemon juice, the garlic and olive oil and blend until you have a smoothish peanut butter. Add the chickpeas and blend further. Taste and season with salt and pepper and add more lemon juice if needed.
