When Sam, my son, was small he was interested in cooking so I decided we would make something he loved. He adored pasta and meat sauce so that is where we started. We took a recipe from a wellworn Italian cookery book and set to work. Over five years have passed since then and Sam (now a teenager) has made this recipe over and over, making changes and he now considers it perfect.
