This recipe takes time to cook, but takes five minutes to get into the oven. Perfect for a weekend lunch, but even better for a picnic. You can even cook the wings ahead and finish them on your barbeque for a smoky taste.

Ingredients

  • 24–30 chicken wings
  • 300 ml passata
  • 2 teaspoons fennel

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Add the chicken wings and coat them thoroughly. Tip into a roasting tin large enough to hold the wings roughly in a single layer (use 2 tins if you need to).
