Tartiflette is one of my favourite combinations of flavours from the French Alps. I love it, but some people see it as nothing more than a rustic cheese and potato pie! So in this recipe, we incorporate all the flavours with succulent chicken breasts for a more elegant main course.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken fillets
  • 150 g Boursin, or similar 8 slices of smoked

Method

  1. Cut a pocket in the side of each chicken breast and push in some of the cheese.
  2. Wrap two slices of bacon around each breast, spiralling it so the whole of the breast is covered. Place the fillets into a roasting tin.
  3. Heat the wine, water, stock cube and garlic and season well with salt and pepper. Bring to the boil then pour over the chicken, cover ti
