One winter it was snowing much more than expected. We were fine as we had a four-wheel drive, but the road up the mountain was littered with vehicles trying to put on snow chains. The one-hour journey for my weekly shop took three hours. By the time I walked through the chalet door, dinner was due on the table in under an hour. Buoyed by the offer of gin-and-tonic, I set to it and this is what I made. It is fast, it is easy and it is delicious!
