Oriental food is a great way to get teenagers not only cooking, but creating. Start with a recipe and follow it. Then decide while you are eating if you would add anything else or miss anything out. It is amazing what they think of! That is how Sam, my son, started. He has several cookery books now and when he makes a new recipe he writes notes alongside, then next time he makes it he tries it his way. This chicken is spicy, by the way.
