This can be made in a loaf tin for a group of people or in individual ramekins for just one or two. Delicious served with cheese sauce or a quick tomato sauce.



  1. Follow the method to make the onion base.
  2. Mix the drained lentils, apples, onion base and breadcrumbs together in a bowl. Add the egg and mix well. Add the herbs and garlic and season to taste with salt and pepper.
