  1. Follow the method to make the onion base. Grate the zest from the lemon and keep to one side. Cut the lemon into quarters and add to the water for the rice, together with the turmeric. Follow the method for Really easy rice.
  2. Put the onions, butter/oil, lemon zest, cardamom seeds and cashew nuts into a frying pan and fry gently
