There are so many pulses and beans available in tins that you will be spoilt for choice of what to put into this salad.

Ingredients

  • 150 g French beans
  • 200 g tin red kidney beans
  • 200 g

Method

  1. Trim and cut the French beans in half. Cook in boiling water for 3–4 minutes until tender. Drain under cold, running water.
  2. Mix the mayonnaise, mustard, sugar, vinegar and chopped onion and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Put all the tinned beans into a colander and wash well to remove all the juices. Add the cooked French and tinned beans to the mayonna
