Canterbury tart was cooked by my Mum and the rest of a charity committee for a special supper. It was heralded as such a huge success that I added the recipe to our chalet test recipes for the following season. As always, once cooked by dozens of busy chalet hosts the recipe was honed, trimmed and simplified. It has since become a firm favourite.
