Ask most people and they will say their favourite cake is chocolate, but it can be rich. The bananas here help this cake taste less sugary and add a depth to the taste while keeping it an utterly delicious chocolate cake.

Ingredients

  • 125 g butter or margarine

Method

  1. Cut a 30cm diameter circle from the baking parchment and push into the tin, folding the edges to make it fit.
  2. Blend all the cake ingredients in a food processor until smooth (or mix by hand in a large bowl).
