Grandmother’s Orange Gâteau

• 2 medium oranges
• 150 g (5½ oz) butter
• 150

Pre-heat the oven to Reg. 7/425°F/220°C.

Sieve the flour and baking powder. Pare the zest from the oranges, chop it finely and reserve it.

Soften the butter until creamy, and mix it with the icing sugar, beating with a wooden spoon until you have a soft, smooth mixture.
