We are in adult territory now so don’t let the kids get their hands on any leftovers! If you like, replace the sloe gin with Southern Comfort, and for more variety use blackberry-, lemon-, orange- or strawberry-flavored gelatin. You can also substitute orange segments, strawberries or sliced peaches for the summer berries.

Ingredients

For the sloe Gin Jellies

  • cups apple juice
  • 2 envelopes (¼-oz.) raspberry-fla

Method

  1. Put the apple juice in a measuring jug or bowl with the gelatin and microwave on High 1 minute. Remove and stir until the gelatin dissolves. Stir in the sloe gin. Leave to cool.
  2. Divide the berries among 4 glasses or small bowls, then pour the cooled gelatin over the tops. Put in the refrigerator to set for at least 4 hours.
