Make a sugar syrup by dissolving the sugar in the water and bringing it slowly to the boil. Allow it to simmer for 5 minutes, then leave to cool.
Add the wine and the strained fruit juices, stir well and freeze. As in the above recipe, stir the sides of the granité to the middle. Continue to stir until you have a fine mush of frozen granules. This may take longer than you think b
