It has become fashionable for some hotels and restaurants to offer cocktails of their own invention, sometimes at rather inflated prices. They make a change and can add spice and novelty to a social occasion. This comes from a nearby village. It features the local ratafia, made from Marcillac grape juice fortified with a little eau de vie. It is, however, well-diluted as you will see.
