Ingredients

  • ½ pound macaroni, boiled according to package instructions until al dente
  • 1 tablespoon olive or other unsaturated oil

Method

Drain the pasta. Meanwhile heat the oil, then stir-fry the vegetables for a few minutes to the degree of doneness you like. Season with salt and pepper. Toss the pasta and meats into the vegetables, add the stock and reheat for 1 minute. Correct the seasoning and add the herbs. Sprinkle with cheese and enjoy; it is great—ask all the chefs who trained with me.
