Method

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease two 8-inch cake pans or one 9-inch springform pan- If using the latter, cut a circle of parchment paper large enough to reach ¼ inch above the separation line between the bottom and side of the pan and fit into the lightly greased bottom of the pan.
