  • About

Here is surely the simplest way to make cheeseburgers. This method is especially useful for an easy children’s supper or picnic. The meat remains soft and juicy in the centre and the cheese melts into the meat as it cooks.

Ingredients

  • 500 g lean beef mince
  • a small handful of flat-leaf parsley finely chopped
  • sea salt

Method

Place the beef mince into a bowl and, using a wooden spoon, mix in the parsley and some salt and pepper. Cut the baps in half. Split the mince into four equal parts and roughly shape into burgers. Roughly press the mince onto the bottom of each bap. Divide the grated cheese into four and press on top of the meat. Top with the other half of each bap and wrap individually in foil.
