Farmhouse Pie

Ignoring the grey watery mince of my schooldays, I created this sophisticated version of a Shepherd’s pie by adding spices I remembered from my time spent in Syria. I have never wavered in my love of this infinitely adaptable and comforting dish. Both adults and children love it (even when you add flavours they would normally scorn) and this version has a lovely cheese and onion topping.
