Wherever I go, this is one of my recipes which decades later people still remember and tell me about. They talk about how their children adored it, what a perfect family dish it was and how they like the name! This pie has an especially good crust of potato pastry, and is a perfect way to use up any leftover mashed potato. Delicious served with green beans and mangetout.
