This is a seriously delicious way to eat rice, and gets the kids asking for more . . . and more . . .

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked sushi rice
  • 2 tablespoons ginger juice
  • olive oil f

Method

Soak 4 wooden skewers in water.

Heat the barbecue to hot.

Take half of the cooked rice and mush to a coarse paste. Add the remaining rice and ginger juice, and form into sausage-like logs.

Place on the soaked wooden skewers and brush with a little oil.

Cook over the barbecue until the rice gets a nice golden edge. Sprinkle with chopped chives and serve hot with m
