This recipe is a great way to bring cabbage onto the menu. The simple flavours of barbecued cabbage and mayo work for almost everyone’s palate.


  • 1 large Chinese cabbage
  • 85 g (3 oz) salted butter, chopped


Heat the barbecue to hot.

Trim the hard core from the cabbage and split the cabbage into quarters. Give them a good wash and set aside to allow the leaves to suck up some water.
