This playful snack is one of the many ways I celebrate fresh figs when they come around in late summer. Because their season is so short, however, and the combination of sweet fruit with salty prosciutto and creamy cheese is always such a crowd-pleaser, I’ve learned to adapt the recipe for the months when I can’t get fresh figs.
