My relationship with panna cotta runs deep. The very first time I cooked for my husband, Joe, a few months into dating, it’s what I made for dessert. When I was living in Italy, I made panna cotta so frequently that my friends pretty much expected it to end a meal when they came over. And at our wedding, it’s what we served before dancing and cake. The classic Italian dessert is one of my very favorites, if these examples don’t make that obvious.
