    • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
    • 4 tablespoons (½ stick) unsalted butter


    1. In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, melt the butter, but do not let it bubble. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes. Swirl the saucepan gently and cook until the butter turns golden brown. Remove the pan from the heat and toss in the fresh herbs.
    2. Pour the warm sauce in a serving bowl and stir in the vinegar. Serve warm with the dumplings.
