Classic miso soup is something we think of as a treat at a Japanese restaurant, but it’s deceptively simple to make a version at home. This is not anything close to traditional—dashi (or stock made from the seaweed kombu) is a more classic ingredient, but in lieu of that, you can still make something excellent.
