I know this is among the longest ingredient lists in this book, but you won’t be sorry when you have this explosion of flavor—and it’s really mostly just a matter of sticking a half teaspoon into a bunch of spices (and if you can’t find a spice or two in your pantry, don’t stress. It’ll turn out fine). I love a pastrami sandwich, and this is like getting that in pasta form. It feels different without being hard and is delicious while also comforting. It’s a hit with any crowd.
