Thai-Inspired Basil Chicken with Scallions

There are few dishes as beloved as the classic Thai basil chicken. The herbaceousness of the abundant basil grounds the meaty umami of the rest of the flavors. If you can find Thai chilis and/or Thai basil, it really adds a lot of dimension to the dish, but it works just fine with whatever versions of herb and spice your grocery store can conjure.
