I added these to the baking list after trying a similar bread in a small bakery in Thessaloniki. Simit is the Turkish name for a style of bread widely enjoyed with regional differences and a multitude of names. In Jerusalem street vendors sell a large circular seed-coated bread with a bag of za’atar for dipping, and I recommend it with these too.
