Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies

The appeal of these cookies is that they can be made on a quiet day, stored in the fridge and baked fresh daily with an improvement in taste and texture with each day (up to five or so). They also have a high chocolate to dough ratio; it’s disappointing to eat a chocolate chip cookie with too little chocolate and I recommend using your favourite eating chocolate. Inspired by the famous New York Times chocolate chip cookie recipe, they use bread flour and we often prep extra salted ca
