The flavours in this dish are so fresh and tasty and it’s really straightforward to make. The tuna is just seared on the outside, leaving the inside lovely and tender. The simple salad is flavoured with a wasabi dressing, which adds a nice fiery bite.
Season the tuna with salt and lots of freshly ground black pepper. Scatter the sesame seeds on a small plate, then roll the tuna in them to coat all over.
Heat a frying pan and, when it is nice and hot, add a trickle of oil and sear the tuna for 1½ minutes on all sides until it is nice and golden. Remove from the heat, transfer to a plate and place in the fridge to chill slightly for 30
