I suppose asparagus is a bit of an obvious ingredient to use if you want a romantic meal, but it really is delicious. I love to serve it simply coated in some salted butter, but cooked this way it is absolutely delectable and a little bit more substantial for a starter.

Ingredients

  • 2 anchovies in olive oil, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic, crushed
